If you are doing it with oracle installation it probably take 15-20 min. Beacause oracle itself take 10-12 min to install.
If u want to install BIPLUS without Oracle (Derby) it hardly take 4-5 min.

Why would you use Oracle rather than Derby, then?

Oracle reporisotry was the previous generation repository engine, tried, trusted, stable.
Derby is the new repository option that is completely self-contained and invisible, thus no reliance on Oracle.
To move from the Oracle repository to Derby requires a full export backup and then a full environment import into the new environment. the Oracle database can be left intact to cater for any Oracle-based data objects that reports might be relying on.
The Derby repository is now out of beta and is stable and production ready. All new instances of BI Plus are by default on Derby, which is invisible to the end user and administrator.
